Every great story begins with a name. La Mafaldina is not just a brand: it is the essence of a family and its roots. Giorgia is “La Mafaldina” - Mafalda’s daughter - and the creative heart and soul behind this project. She grew up surrounded by flour, learning the art of pizza with great curiosity.

LA MAFALDINA IS A HYMN TO FAMILY AND ROOTS
The inspiration? A dip in the crystal clear waters of the Amalfi Coast.
And from there, the idea of creating a project that spoke of home, love and authenticity. Giorgia and Marco, after an initial meeting that was anything but promising, fell in love, realizing that their lives deserved a new direction, combining passion and family.

Entering La Mafaldina is not just eating a pizza.
It is feeling at home, welcomed as part of a big family. The atmosphere is warm and sincere, where you feel at ease, without filters, but always surrounded by beauty and authenticity.
Giorgia and Marco wanted to create a space that can tell a true story, made of affection and people that work with passion, an environment where the customer is an integral part of this narrative. With the experience and constant support of Giorgia's parents, in 2018 on June 23, the first La Mafaldina opened in Pontevigodarzere, transforming the dream into reality.

Our pizza follows the footsteps of Neapolitan tradition, with that light, soft and fragrant dough that takes you to the South of Italy with every bite. Pizza is a universal language, but for us it has a Neapolitan accent, because origins matter.
