Ingredients and territories

Before reaching the table, every flavor has a story. We went searching for it among the lemon groves of Amalfi, the port of Cetara, the artisan workshops, and the crops at the foot of Vesuvius.

Ingredients and Territories is a journey through the places and encounters that inspire La Mafaldina: the hands, gestures, and traditions that make what we choose for you special.

Among the lemons of Amalfi

In Amalfi, we meet the Aceto family of La Valle dei Mulini. Between tending the lemons and the tradition of limoncello, we discover a connection to the land that is renewed every day.

The anchovies of Cetara

At the port of Cetara, we met the fishermen, watched them prepare their nets, and listened to their stories. Behind the anchovies on our Cetarese pizza are gestures, experience, and a tradition worth preserving.

In Giordano Dolci's laboratory

Pastiera, babà, and ricotta and pears take shape in Giordano Dolci's artisanal workshop. Giorgia tries her hand at making the seven strips of pastiera before the final tasting.

The Piennolo Tomato from Vesuvius

Sun, volcanic soil, and the hard work of those who grow it: the Vesuvius Piennolo Tomato tells the story of the connection between an ingredient and its origins. A story we find in the choices made at La Mafaldina.
